The L&D Philly Story

L&D Philly was founded in 2015 with a goal of providing opportunities for the learning and development community to connect and grow their skills. The co-founders were Josh Maleeff, John Luczkowski & Hannah Hartwell. 

Over the years the organization has gone through changes. It started as a meetup group for its first year before incorporating as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2016.  The focus for most of its history has been on providing monthly workshops. In 2025, that focus turned to networking events.
